Getting workers to wear protection is often half the battle, especially in work environments where hard hats are not required. Importantly, a survey by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) recorded that one-third (1/3) of impact injuries to the head were suffered by workers who bumped into stationary objects when not wearing any head protection.
